Did the money change hands?

After all, this was a BET, wasn't it?

Am I alone on this?

I wonder if they used the sanitary method of a wire transfer or do you think Tommy filled up a briefcase and gave him all $100 bills.

As Peggy Bundy said to Al, "What are you going to do with all that money? Go to the nudie bar 400,000 times?"

"No, Peg. Just one great one!"

Folks, I'm going to be taking off the sticky on these two threads in a few days, so if anyone wants to post pics or comments or copy down the video links...now would be a good time.

Cool

Its obvious the majority of you on here are n00bs to dragracing (which is expected since Cobras are NOT drag cars). Posted Magazine times mean nothing when there is money on the line. Horsepower is useless unless your car is setup to use it efficiently, and most important of all......To be a good drag racer, you must also be a good Hustler!

Hopefully Tom learned to never underestimate his opponent. Sometimes, The fastest cars are the ones that appear to be the slowest

The real reason Iam posting in this thread is because I have been following it since early on and would like to congratulate Dan on a win that after speaking with him, I knew from the beginning he would take with ease. His team's hard work paid off...

Congrats and Long Live American Muscle!

It's obvious that that you are a presumptuous FNG who, with his first post, has decided to sum up what he thinks the collective experience of thousands of members here is. Actually, more than a few experienced drag racing Cobra owners have been a part of this thread.

It's Saturday morning, and your post touched a nerve in me before I've had my second cup of coffee after a late evening of very nice sipping taquilla...

Have a day off and consider what your second post will be about...hopefully it won't be your last

Good morning.

Default crossbreeder, did you really figure this out all by y'self?

I'll say this for ya, yu got balls visitin' on this thread for the first time and spoutin' off the way you did.

There are dedicated piston/gear heads, track drivers, engine builders, tranny experts, installers and just plain fun seeking Cobra owners who frequent this site and share their experiences and concerns, build history's, performance expectations and whatever else that is Cobra related they feel the need to opine on and have been doing this for a long, long time.

So before you make another, err, spectacle of yourself, may I suggest you pause for a moment and consider the combined level of experience the 30,000 plus CC membership represents, before you make any more nonsensical assumptions without any foundation or due diligence being performed. Heck you may learn something. Just my two cents........

No harm, no foul pal, its all in good fun, BUT Jamo did let you off light.

He crashed the other dude who had diarrhoea of the mouth, for two years.......

Cheers, tin-man Zhuhai P.R.C.

No sh...er...kidding. I've never been much of a drinker...I used to snort taquilla (thanks to Blackjack and the Preacher at early Flings...got a picture of Brent in mid-snort, another victim of the dynamic duo), but I ain't no professional.

Went to a local Hispanic chamber's banquet...not your typical chamber function.

With Jay being a Texas boy,I'm surprised he didn't bring some Tequilla with him instead of that low octane Taquilla.

For most of us it was never a question of power in Dan's car, it was a question of traction!

We couldn't even figure out what tires he was running for sure! The video reveals he hooked up real good, MUCH better than I expected. AND a higher rpm launch than I expected. Track prep with the sticky stuff proved to be a deciding factor, without a doubt.

I doubt one post "crossbreeder" had a clue about what tires Dan was running, if so, it means his post is BS and he knows nothing about drag racing OR Cobras!

I was glad to see Dan pull it off. Tom should have turned off the traction control and auto shifter when he seen Dans car hook like that. He could have made it alittle closer.

It was a great ride while it lasted.

I'm hoping they go with the road race next.
