Nicely done Tim. In the first picture, I was thinking "wow, you can make a lot of ice cubes with that grille!!!!"

ON the heater inlet/outlet at the firewall, are they going to supply grommets???

Herman ... You are right, will need to count the squares, to see how many cubes it will make

Good point on the heater pipes, need to check with Peter on that one.

Rick ... I believe it goes in with just a few screws, so you should be able to take it in and out without too much work, depending on the 'look' you want for your car.

Wow, its great to see so many cars nearing completion. I remember the feeling last year as the weather starts to improve...you begin to count every day and hope it will be done...

I bet you all are smiling from ear to ear!

Tim,
Is there a chance you might be able to bring your car to the Sonoma Square get together in May? Would love to see it if you can make it.

Talk about "jealous", you guys on the East coast get to just pop in over at ERA, walk around and take photos whenever you feel like it. Drool. Man 'o man, every time a see a new pic pop up on this thread of the cars there, I just want to be transported to the center of the shop for a look around! Maybe I'll get back there some day.

Duane ... I certainly hope to, we'll see when the car arrives and how the motor & trans install goes. Will also need to fabricate some parts for the seat installation and the like. If I miss it ... I will be sure to make other events not that far after. I am really looking forward to getting 2136 on the road!

-------

I hear what you saying about ERA ... went the one time in August 2009 and hope to make it back in the not too distant future. The whole setup with the various shops scattered here and there and the 'skunk works' just up the road, it's a real treat to visit. You will never see the same car twice, that's for sure, each one has it's own personality.

Most of all, it comes down to the people ... Peter, Bob, John, Doug ... the list goes on and on ... true Yankee Craftsmen

Herman,

I talked with Peter yesterday and the car is done

I also have started the process with Jeff at Intercity Lines to have the car shipped, but as of yet, do not have an estimated pick up or delivery date. Depends on their load schedule, weather and so forth ... hoping for mid April

Looks like you could be back on the road before 2136 arrives ... so for your clutch ... once you have the parts and installed then you are good to go ?

Awesome news Tim! So close! You've been patient and your patience is about pay off. Can't wait to see your car in person.
