Wow, now he speaks for the thread! What does this "big time lawyer" do when someone challenges one of those pipe dreams that make into the court room

Tommy, you want some cheese with that WHINE lol
Hmmm... It's one thing to be an ass...it's an entirely different thing to attack lawyers.

Enjoy a few days off while you consider the relevance of your existence, which is somewhat in doubt.

Look at it this way Henrik, I have asked for explicit shedules of this event and thus once published it can be confirmed, ya? sooooo, even if it gets cancelled at the eleventh hour and Buzz and me are in Vegas at the race track looking at each other and wondering WTF, we'll still have fun, get drunk and have a good time and then I go and pick up my Cobra, whata hoot. Yep, theres no downside to this one, my wifey gets to stay in Zhuhai and I get to visit Vegas, wink, wink, wink.

Plus we'll even look up Dan, belt down some more booze and get some tips on playin' da game.....from da man.

It don't get no better than this, ya?

That's right Tommy, you run along now, 'bout past your bedtime anyway lol.
Figured that "post a pic of your cars side by side with you two next to 'em" would be a show stopper!

Machiavelli - you are as stupid as much as you are a jerk. As the people who have read the thread will gladly explain, my car is in Washington, DC and Dan's car is in Las Vegas, NV. My car gets picked up by Interstate Auto Transport next week. That makes it really, really hard to take a picture side by side.I gladly would have taken a picture with the longstanding Club Cobra member who is coming to my time trials at the drag strip at the Maryland Speedway Monday and who was supplying the camera for the 458. But I just don't have any interest in doing that on a site populated by such an ass, even when everyone else on the site recognizes that's what you are.

Default For Dan Bilzerian...............

its unfortunate that Tommy dropped out, thus not sure if you are still in and needing advise from the forum members, Machivelli's comments nothwithstanding?

For those of us who are following this thread being the majority of folks that represent the 409 posts and 18,609 visits it would be a shame to let this go and drop communicating due to a few individuals comments.

Up to now, this has been one most entertaining thread and a hellova blast. IMHO folks......

I think the IRS penalty is something like 4% for failing to file quarterly taxes, but I wouldn't use any logic like that.

I appreciate all the suggestions about what would make this race "fair," and all I can say is that those all make their way right on to my list of things I would never, ever agree to in a million years. I'm not looking for a fair fight; I'm looking to win.

But to be clear, after the race with the bet is done, Blitz can put whatever he wants on the car and we'll run it for pride.

A regular riot, this fellow. Sure reflects well on the Cobra hobby

“Blitz? He’s a blast” says fellow Team Victory member Andrew Robl. “He once wanted to go to a Halloween party but didn’t have a costume. So he and a buddy pulled over his car, blitz opened his trunk, pulled out some camo pants and a machine gun and rolled up in the party with a loaded machine gun. After getting drunk and letting girls play with the loaded gun his boys ex-filed him w/o incident

There's absolutely no question that Blitz could arrive at this event packing serious heat. An anti-aircraft rifle is not out of the question. That's just the openng bid.

Blitz should import in a tuning mechanic capable of getting the best out of the Kirkham (and a little launch coaching). With all that cash on the line, it would be a no-brainer. And for God's sake, buy some tires and use racing gas. A capable Cobra mechanic will put you right.

Blitz, your head is going to explode with so many people giving you bench racing advice. In your line of work, you probably have hired consultants now and again. Take advice from only those who have raced 1/4 mile in a cobra. Hire Keith Craft to come down to consult, tune and train you.. Prepare, Prepare, Prepare..... Be safe!

Sorry, no -- part of the bet was we couldn't get a coach.

Your launch control is your coach. Unplug the thing and then it's a fair fight.

Not getting a coach...is that for game day only? Coming here and getting bench tips is kinda like getting coached.

Can either one of you get coached during practice in the days and weeks prior to the actual race?

I'm amazed that everyone is buying into this "Blitz is a Moron" thing. You don't make money as a VC or as a high stakes poker player by being stupid or gullible.

I suspect we are dealing with a much smarter, shrewder individual than he is pretending to be. If nothing else, I find it inconceivable that someone like Tommy would be close friends with an idiot. Quite the opposite, Tommy being friends with him just about guarantees he's highly competent and probably top 1%.

I am really looking forward to seeing the conclusion of this.

Do a Google search for "Bilzerian" and you might come to a different conclusion. Either Dan or his daddy Paul -- looks like the apple don't fall far from the tree.

rjbh20,

I didn't say he was a nice guy, or that he plays by the rules. I've never met him, so I wouldn't know.

I'm just saying the whole way he is presenting himself feels wrong. I don't buy it.

In any case, it certainly is first class entertainment.

Both of these guys responded to forum member requests and posted their identities. They did so in good faith because some folks simply didn't believe they actually existed.

By all means respond frankly and openly to the posts - tell it like you see it - but for cryin' out loud, leave the amateur internet detective work and associated judgementalism for your neighborhood group meetings and keep the focus on the race. What the hell does a person's family have to do with any of this?
