Ferrari VS 65 Cobra / Kirkham Episode THEBET
If Tommy Gold / Blitzforce Prepay for some of my costs film crews room (1) night and one meal. Camera Crew (2), Sound, Shannon Elizabeth Host etc.. So lets figure $2,000.00 to cover; And cover any Film fee LVMS likes to charge..
I will take care of all other costs of filming this event for THEBET TV production in creation..
I will bring the helicopter, HD cameras, MAC equipment and film the whole race with pre race interviews, the race and whole day activities.
I will also bet 2k the oldschool underdog cobra will win for the hell of it...
If the Race does not happen - as some are now betting, then the prepay monies are forfitted.

Good point CobraDan, I got to get me some drag radials! The very interesting data base does list the type of tires, which is way cool.
Note the 0-60 ft times, I've never been under 2 (and still ran 11.90 at 123 mph). 
And how about that naturally aspirated 289 at number 6 on the list!!
Oh,,, and tommy, your ET is downright scary!

Can I make sure that I understand the chart? It looks like there are around 12 cars on it that have done better than 11.5 as their best time. It seems like those are drivers who've practiced dragging, and their cars may well be set up to drag. Blitz, by contrast, is basically addled, has a car that isn't set up for it, and certainly has no drag experience in a car that mere mortals regard as impossible to handle.
In the other lane, the recorded 1/4 mile times for 458's are 10.8-10.2. I won't get it perfect but I basically don't have to do anything but flick a switch.
And yet fully 40% of the people responding to the poll believe that the Cobra will win without me even screwing up? I'm sure I'm missing something.

Tom,
I'm sure if the same exact vote was put up on the ferrari chat forum the voting outcome would be different.
I voted with my heart that the cobra will win 1 run. If I would have voted with my brain, I would have voted differently perhaps.

Have you ever drag raced a 1/4 mile?
It is a lot longer than you think and you might run out of balls before you cross the finishline and lift. Just saying.

Naumoff, I think you're exactly right if I actually had do anything at all. I'm just along for the ride and to collect the bet. Might doze off, especially if it takes Blitz a while to get down the track.
